House fire on Honduras Street in Houma

Houma Fire Department is in the 100 block of Honduras St. for a house on fire.

Heavy smoke could be seen on the horizon as crews were responding. Engine 2 arrived onscene first to heavy black smoke showing from the boxing on the house. As of 3pm, it is still an active scene.
