October 22, 2006Radio listeners of 105.9FM KBZE could $1 million by listening to the Tom Joyner Morning Show, weekdays from 5 to 9 a.m.
Tom Joyner, host of the Tom Joyner Morning Show on 105.9FM KBZE, and Internet Radio Station www.kbze.com kicked off the promotion on Oct. 16 n as part of his Cash Call Plus daily game show, one caller will win $1 million.
“I’m asking my listeners, ‘What would you do with $1 million?” said Joyner, whose radio show reaches eight million listeners every week. “I’m taking our Cash Call contest to a new level just in time for the holiday season. Somebody is going to win this money before the end of the year.”
Since 2004, Joyner has awarded more than $2 million in total to nearly 2,000 winners as part of his Cash Call Program. He typically awards $1,000 every hour.† The 10th caller during each hour of the show must provide Joyner the correct three numbers he has announced during that hour of the show. Callers will then have the option to take the $1,000 or choose an envelope that may contain up to $1 million.†Joyner will open the envelope on air, allowing listeners to know instantly if they have won. The contest will continue until there is a winner of the $1 million prize. The defined number of envelopes and chances will assure that a winner is chosen before year’s end.
