Lafourche DA To Sponsor Open Meetings Seminar

Lafourche is hiring census takers today and tomorrow.
The U.S. Census Bureau is accepting applications online or at the Lafourche Public Library, 705 West 5th St., February 27, and 28, from 9am to 2pm.
No experience is required but applicants must be 18 years or older. According to their website, www.2020census.gov/jobs, pay is $18 per hour.
Census day is April first, 33 days away. The information gathered from the census is used to make many governmental decision, such as representation and where federal dollars are spent.
