Lafourche council: In other action

The following is a list of actions taken by the Lafourche Parish Council at its regular meeting on Nov. 27. All councilmen were present and all actions were unanimous, unless otherwise stated.

• Approved an ordinance adopting the 2008 Operation and Capital Budget for the Lafourche Parish Council as well as setting the salaries of unclassified employees.

• Approved amendments to the 2008 Operation and Capital Budget that were inadvertently left out.

• Deferred approving a servitude agreement between Vernice Morvant Lirette and the Lafourche Parish Council.

• Approved changing the speed limit to 10 mph for Parkwood Drive and Babin Street in Bayou Blue. Brent Callias was absent from voting.

• Approved changing the stop sign from three-way stop to a four-way stop at the corner of Avenue B and East 7th Street in Larose. Callais was absent from voting.

• Approved a servitude agreement between Total Environmen-tal Solutions, Inc. and the Lafourche Parish Council. Callais was absent from voting.

• Approved a servitude agreement between Leonard T. Stennett and the Lafourche Parish Council. Callais was absent from voting.

• Approved the creation of an index page for the Lafourche Parish Subdivision Regulations. Callais was absent from voting.

• Amended Section 19:334, the Application and Approval Process for Family Subdivisions of the Lafourche Parish Subdivision Regulations. Callais was absent from voting.

• Amended Section 19:321, the Parish Subdivision Regulations, Words and Terms Defined of the Lafourche Parish Subdivision Regulations.

• Amended Section 19:330, the Classification of Residential Subdivision of the Lafourche Parish Subdivision Regulations.

• Amended Section 19:351, the Lot Improvements of the Lafourche Parish Subdivision Regulations.

• Amended Section 19:352, the Road of the Lafourche Parish Subdivision Regulations.

• Amended Ordinance No. 4103 fixing salaries of unclassified employees.

• Approved a resolution to reduce the speed limit on La. 1 to Raceland city limits all the way through the Lockport city limits.
