Lafourche to host town hall meeting for businesses

Local business leaders are invited to a town-hall style meeting at the Warren G. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium Thursday to discuss operating a business in Thibodaux.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Oak Alley Room of the civic center, 310 North Canal Boulevard in Thibodaux.

According to the city’s Marketing & Public Relations Administrator Luci Sposito, Mayor Charles Caillouet called the meeting to give business leaders an opportunity to offer input about how the city can be improved.

“I look forward to engaging in an open discussion with attendees, answer any questions and listen to suggestions,” Mayor Caillouet said.

Members from the city’s planning and zoning commission, the city council and the Thibodaux Historic District Board members will be available to answer questions.
