ZZ’s chances of winning a $250,000 contract just seem to keep getting better every, single week.

On this week’s episode of ‘Tough Enough,’ Bayou Boeuf native Zamariah “ZZ” Loupe was again in the bottom 3, which meant that his fate was left up to America.

After new judge “The Miz” opted to save Amanda from possible elimination, ZZ was set to go 1-on-1 against Mada.

Through Twitter voting, the WWE Universe opted to eliminate the big, bruising Mada, which means that ZZ is now one of three men who will be in consideration for the Tough Enough Title.

The news struck celebratory chords in ZZ’s stomping grounds, as his friends and family watched in awe as their own survived to see another week.

Loupe looked to be in better physical condition this week after being challenges by judges last week to improve his physique.

“We are pleased he is doing well,” Loupe’s mother Diana Lynn Tregle said. “It looked like ZZ didn’t step up but ZZ really is stepping up.  I thought he looked damned good on the stage. The people love him. I am so very grateful that people love him so much.”

With the elimination, there are now just seven people remaining on the show – three males and four females. WWE will give a contract to one person of each gender at the end of the show.

But even if not the winner of ‘Tough Enough,’ there is a very good chance that Loupe lands a WWE deal. In previous seasons of the show, the wrestling giant has signed several members of the cast to post-show contracts.

ZZ-Mania lives on – for another week. And the folks from the Houma-Thibodaux area continue to watch in awe, as the alligator man makes his mark on the big stage.

“I am so grateful to all the people that took the time out to vote,” Tregle said.

Tough Enough airs every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. on USA Network.
