Angela Guidry has been named assistant vice president, branch manager of IberiaBank’s Houma branch, located at 1420 St. Charles St, according to a company news release.

With 11 years in the banking industry to her credit, Guidry most recently served as assistant vice president and customer service manager at Capital One (formerly Hibernia Bank). She was assigned to the Kenner area.

In her role with IberiaBank, Guidry will be responsible for the growth and development of the staff as the company continues its statewide expansion, the release states. She will also assist Al Badeaux, commercial business development and senior vice president, in meeting the needs of the Houma area business community.

“Angela brings great talent and commitment to IBERIABANK,” said Karl Hoefer, New Orleans regional president. “We look forward to growing our presence in the Houma community with Angela as an integral member of our team.”

A native of Southeast Louisiana, Guidry is a graduate of the University of New Orleans where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She is actively involved in the Houma community, serving as a diplomat for the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber. She is also a member of the Houma Rotary Club.

Guidry and her family have been part of the Houma area for many years.

IberiaBank is one of the oldest financial institutions with continuous operations in Louisiana, and is the second largest Louisiana-based bank holding company. As of March 31, the bank’s total assets were $4.6 billion.
