K&B Machine, supported by LED FastStart, will host a job fair Saturday to fill positions at its Houma manufacturing facility. The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fletcher Technical Community College, 310 St. Charles St., Houma.

K&B Machine’s five divisions include full-length threading, tubular accessories, welding and fabrication, manufacturing and customer inventory control. The company services the oilfield and natural gas industries.

The job fair will target applicants interested in multiple positions, including various levels of CNC machinists, CNC leads, quality control inspectors and manual machinists.

Hiring will begin following the job fair, after applicants go through a screening process. The job fair will help the company meet employment needs as it continues to experience a growth in demand for oilfield pipe fabrication and services.

In March, K&B Machine announced the construction of a 200,000-square-foot manufacturing and headquarters facility in Terrebonne Parish. Located in the Schriever area, off La. Highway 311, the new facility is expected to open in mid- to-late 2013.
