La. Hospital Assoc. head to speak

Proposed budget cuts to the Department of Health and Hospitals is the topic of discussion at Thursday’s Rise & Shine with the Chamber session.

Louisiana Hospital Association President and CEO John Matessino is the guest speaker. He is expected to talk about the potential impacts such cuts would have on the medical industry and local economies.

The quarterly breakfast meeting begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Western Sizzlin’ Banquet Room in Thibodaux.

Chamber members eat breakfast free. The cost for non-members is $15.
