Edward Jones Financial Services Representative Lee Stiel, of Houma, has increased his share in his partnership with EDJ Holding Co. Inc., a subsidiary in the Edward Jones family of companies.

“It is an honor to partner with the Edward Jones companies. Edward Jones is not a publicly held company. We are not beholden to stockholders, we are beholden to our clients,” Stiel said.

Edward Jones is the highest ranking full-service brokerage in investor satisfaction, according to the JD Powers 2006 Full Service Investor Satisfaction Survey. This is the sixth consecutive year Edward Jones has ranked first on the JD Powers survey.

“The economy as a whole is doing well. Business in Terrebonne Parish is thriving and consequently, I am fortunate that my business is also doing very well,” Stiel said.

He said working with business owners and people planning their retirement is the most enjoyable aspect of the job. “We want people to know that they can get state-of-the-art financial services right here in Houma. We at Edward Jones like to think that our greatest strength is building good, honest relationships with our clients. We try to bring Wall Street to Main Street.”

Stiel is a full-service financial adviser, who has been with Edward Jones for 12 years. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is a certified public accountant. He is married with three children and a grandchild.
