March 20, 2008Houma-based Bourgeois & Associates Inc. President Roger Bourgeois was recently named a “Platinum Level Distributor” by Siemens Fire Safety Distributors.
The announcement came at a Siemens’ summit at Saddle Brook Resort near Tampa, Fla.
The theme of the meeting was “Power of Partnership.”
Bourgeois has been selling and installing Siemens Fire Detection and Suppression System for over 20 years.
In other company business, Kate Giroir successfully completed the 19-element Automatic Fire Alarm Association’s “Fire Alarm Fundamentals” online continuing education course.
On 15 of the 19 course modules, Giroir scored 100 percent, putting her among only a few women to do so, according to Bourgeois.
Giroir recently celebrated her 10th year with Bourgeois & Associates. She is responsible for inside sales and purchasing fire detection and suppression and gas detection systems for the company.
