Michele Louviere has been named Terrebonne General Medical Center’s top employee for January.
A unit secretary/monitor tech in the Critical Care Unit, Louviere has been employed with TGMC for almost three years.
The Employee of the Month program recognizes employees who exemplify the kind of person patients, family members and fellow employees distinguish as role models. The top staffer shows dedication, outstanding work ethics and positive attitude to all.
Louviere got her start as an equipment tech in CCU. She was recognized for going above and beyond, willingly sitting with patients, working extra shifts and volunteering to assist co-workers with the digital transition.
“I enjoy working at TGMC because my co-workers have been very accepting and friendly toward me since my first day in the unit. I have formed many friendships and hope to have more,” Louviere said. “I hope to remain as an employee with TGMC until I reach retirement age. I am so grateful and blessed to be given this opportunity to work here, and the ability to assist the nurses and anyone working here at TGMC in any way that I can. Thanks to all who have believed in me.”
