M C Bank announces promotions

M C Bank & Trust Company recently announced promotions of eight of its staff at the annual Stockholders’ Meeting. The designations received the approval of the bank’s board of directors.

Among those elevated were:


• Leo Broussard, who was named vice president. Broussard has 41 years of banking experience. Most recently, he served as the banking officer and loan representative at the Lafayette branch.


• Karen Froreich was also named vice president. A member of M C Bank’s staff since 1996, Froreich is presently a consumer loan officer at the Morgan City branch on Victor II Boulevard.

• Lennis Simoneaux, vice president. Simoneaux joined M C Bank in 1997. He also serves as a consumer loan officer at the M C Main Office in Morgan City.


• LeeAnn Dumont, assistant vice president. An M C Bank staffer since 1973, Dumond is the Bayou Vista branch manager.

• Mary Eues, assistant vice president. She joined the staff in 1985 and serves as a new accounts supervisor.

• Melonia Gros, assistant vice president. She joined M C Bank in 1983 and is the branch manager at the Colonial Plaza branch.

• Edna Landry, assistant vice president. Landry joined the staff in 1981 and is the head teller at the Victor II Boulevard Main Branch.

• Pam Patureau, assistant vice president. An M C Bank staffer since 1977, Patureau recently celebrated her 30th anniversary in the banking industry. She was originally hired as a Cooperative Office Education (COE) student during her senior year at Morgan City High School. She is the branch manager at the Amelia branch.
