Troy Cloutier has been promoted to senior vice president/regional president of MidSouth Bank’s South Louisiana market, bank officials announced.

The South Louisiana market is one of five regions recently formed as part of a restructuring of the bank’s statewide operations, said Melanie Riedl, marketing director. The market includes Terrebonne Parish, where Cloutier also serves as a commercial loan officer, as well as Lafourche and St. Mary parishes.

A native of Morgan City, Cloutier was most recently city president or the Houma-Thiobdaux market and has been employed with MidSouth Bank since 1992.

MidSouth Bancorp’s common stock is traded on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol MSL. The company is based in Lafayette and has 29 locations in Louisiana and Texas, and more than 120 ATMs, Riedl said.
