Three Nicholls State University student employees were recently honored for

their initiative, reliability, enthusiasm, interpersonal skills and commitment to high


standards and quality of work.


Emily Alford, Steven Ackman and Cambria Bouzigard were names top workers

by the university’s Office of Student Employment.


Alford, a Thibodaux native, is employed in the Louisiana Center for Women &


Government. She was named Outstanding Student Employee, for which she was

given a $250 scholarship. She is a family and consumer sciences senior.

Ackman received the Paraprofessional Support Award. An employee of the

Office of Instructional Technology Support, the Morgan City resident is a

marketing senior.

Bouzigard, an employee of University College, was named the Departmental

Support Award winner. She is an elementary education senior from Cut Off.

Ackman and Bouzigard each received a $125 scholarship.
