The Terrebonne Economic Development Authority has completed its staff realignment with the addition of Shannon Stone Rhodes as Business Liaison/Community Development Specialist. This role oversees loan programs and is actively involved in business retention and expansion.


Rhodes worked for seven years as executive assistant to the president of Buquet Distributing Co. Prior to that she was with Patterson Real Estate.

“I am thrilled to be part of the TEDA team,” Rhodes said. “My entire career has been spent preparing for this exciting and challenging new professional endeavor. I look forward to providing a proactive, responsive and effective outreach relationship with the business community.”

Rhodes joins newly hired Communications

Director Meg Benoit and intern Neal Bollinger as he fills a program requirement from Nicholls State University.

“We are pleased to work with Nicholls’ internship program to find such a highly recommended student,” Vassallo said. “Neal is a great asset to our team because of his enthusiasm and desire to learn about economic development.”
