Thibodaux Regional Medical Center received the Press Ganey Associates Summit Award for inpatient and outpatient services earlier this month, continuing its recent influx of patient-care achievements.

The awards celebrate patient satisfaction. The recognized facilities have to place in the 95th percentile of Press Ganey’s database for three or more consecutive years.

Thibodaux Regional CEO Greg Stock said the awards serve as a tribute to the work of the hospital’s board of commissioners, administration and staff.

TRMC is one of 13 general acute care hospitals to receive the Summit Award for inpatient care and one of 16 outpatient facilities across the country to be honored by Press Ganey, which partners with nearly 2,100 and 1,400 facilities, respectively.

Jeffrey Thompson, improvement manager with Press Ganey, presented the awards to Thibodaux Regional.

Thibodaux Regional is the only general acute care hospital in the state to have been honored with the awards.
