LPSO investigating bomb threat at W.S. Lafargue Elementary

LPSO is actively investigating an alleged bomb threat at W.S. Lafargue Elementary School in Thibodaux. All students and faculty were evacuated and are safe. We are aware of similar threats that have been made to schools throughout the state today, and we will be cooperating with state and federal partners in this investigation. We will continue to issue updates as deemed necessary.
