Houma Police arrested a Montegut man Dec. 15 after he was spotted weaving in the Houma Tunnel, a department spokesman said.

George W. Blakney, 50, 829 Aragon Rd., was arrested at 11:37 p.m. after police pulled his 2000 Ford F-150 truck over, said Lt. Todd Duplantis. Blakney was given a field sobriety test and was subsequently arrested for DWI, he said.

Duplantis said Blakney was transported to the Houma Police Department where he took the chemical test for intoxication, with the final test results showing his blood alcohol concentration higher than the legal limit.

Blakney was charged with DWI, and improper lane usage.
