According to an article from WDSU news, a spokesperson from Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s office has confirmed the stay-at-home order will not be lifted until May 16.
The city was previously under an order to be lifted on April 30, along with the rest of the state.
The Mayor recommended yesterday that all festivals and fairs in the city be canceled for the remainder of 2020.
