Popular local eatery to close

WOW Cafe and Wingery will soon be closing its Houma location, according to a social media post by the local franchise’s ownership.

Over the weekend, a rumor circulated on Facebook stating that the local eatery, located at 1731 Martin Luther King Blvd in Houma, would be closing.

Those rumors were confirmed online when the restaurant’s Facebook page posted a statement saying that the restaurant’s final day in business will be Jan. 24.

According to the statement, the store’s lease had expired and a new business will be moving into WOW’s location.
