Nicholls State University will host a dual enrollment information session, on Monday, February 21, in Peltier Hall at 6:30 p.m. The event will provide information about the dual enrollment program for high school students, along with information about admission and eligibility requirements.

NSU’s Dual Enrollment Program gives high school students the opportunity to earn college credits while still working towards their high school diploma. Dual enrollment can be beneficial to students, saving them time and money, while ensuring students are up to task. The information session will offer students the opportunity to register for courses such as SOCI151, Introductory Sociology, ART 110, Art Appreciation, and MUS 105.

Enrolling in dual enrollment provides a plethora of advantages including saving students money, graduating sooner than the anticipated date, access to online classes, and the option of taking classes that fits their degree program.

Eligibility requirements for the dual enrollment program can be found here. For more information, please contact Nicholls Dual Enrollment Department at 985-448-4094, or, visit https://www.nicholls.edu/academic-services-center/dual-enrollment/.
