Terrebonne Parish President candidate Shari Champagne was disqualified today in local court.
In the State of Louisiana Board of Ethics versus Shari Champagne, the court ruled in favor of the Board of Ethics. This results in Champagne being disqualified and unable to run for Parish President.
The case was filed on August 16. The judge in this case was David Arceneaux.
