October 16, 2008Tri-parish residents affected by hurricanes Gustav and Ike can get answers to their questions about the recovery process all this week.
Federal and state customer service staff will be at the Disaster Recovery Center at the Ward 7 Citizens Club, 5006 Highway 56, Chauvin, through Friday.
The representatives will meet face-to-face with residents to discuss the recovery, check the status of federal aid applications or assist in applying for a low-in terest loan. Appointments are not needed.
They will also demonstrate ways to prevent home damage from future storms.
