Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter is hosting a sign up for the Lafourche Parish Resident Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program today, Monday, June 13. Pet parents can stop by today with a drivers license and a utility bill, to sign up for the low cost program to help the Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter fight pet overpopulation. Payments can be made via check or money order only, and paperwork will be completed for services to be fulfilled at a future date. To sign up visit the Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter at 934 Highway 3185, Thibodaux until 4 p.m., or at Fire Central at 17462 West Main Street, Cut Off, until 3 p.m.


Spay/neuter and rabies vaccines will be available for the following pets:

  • Small Dogs (under 25lbs) – $90
  • Large Dogs (25-70lbs) – $110
  • X-Large Dogs (over 70lbs) -$130
  • Owned Cats- $50
  • Community Cats (ear tip required) $30
