The southbound left lane (tag only lane) of the toll bridge at Louisiana Highway 1 in Leeville will close Monday (Feb. 9).

The closure will begin at 9 a.m. and could last up to 24 hours.

It is necessary for equipment upgrades, according to Louisiana DOTD.

During the closure, all “GeauxPass” traffic will need to pass through the right lane (cash or credit lane). “GeauxPass” traffic will be asked to reduce speed in the smaller lane and not stop at the toll booth. All cash and credit customers will still be required to stop at the toll booth and pay as usual.

Large trucks transporting wide and oversized loads will be redirected to contraflow up the northbound lane by Louisiana DOTD Traffic Control Staff.
