January 22, 2014The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 53-year-old man it believes is responsible for snatching an elderly woman’s purse in the Walmart parking lot.
TPSO Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said that detectives continued its investigation into the case, which took place on Jan. 13 when a woman reported that her purse was taken from her.
Detectives, with public assistance, identified the suspect in the case as Errol Johnson, 51, of Assumption Parish, as the person responsible for the crime.
Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for Johnson for simple burglary and unauthorized use of an access card.
