Swimming pool goes missing

The pool was there when the 44-year-old owner moved out of Manny Court, but when she returned Wednesday afternoon to retrieve it, the family-sized pool had disappeared.

Houma Police were called to the woman’s trailer to investigate the theft around 4:21 p.m. The woman told police she left the blue and white pool assembled in the backyard of the residence. She was given permission to leave it by the owner of the trailer park until she could move it, police said. When she arrived that day to get her 16-foot by 4-foot pool, someone had taken it.

Officers patrolled the area, but were unable to locate the missing swimming pool, police said. The case remains under investigation.
