Terrebonne General Health System is a proud recipient of the 2022 Funds for Safety Grant program. Funds for Safety is a grant program sponsored by Louisiana Hospital Association (LHA) Trust Funds. Each year, they award up to $300,000 in grant funding for new initiatives to improve patient safety. The program’s objective is to encourage and support member efforts in the development and implementation of patient safety and quality initiatives.

Terrebonne General will enhance its lung cancer screening program by applying these funds to a Lung Screening Software for Pulmonary Nodule Identification. The funds will support our initiative to purchase a Patient Management Lung Screening Software solution that offers earlier detection and better outcomes.

Having the right processes, people, and technology make creating an effective program achievable. “Our team is ready to meet the challenges of improving patient outcomes and boost screening programs with a fully compliant lung cancer screening solution to give them the best chance of positive outcomes. We are dedicated to revolutionizing how healthcare data is gathered and shared among caregivers to ensure the right data reaches the right people at the right time, every time,” said Phyllis Peoples, President and CEO.
