Lafourche Parish Schools – public and private – will be closed on Thursday after another blast of cold weather is expected tonight. All schools associated with the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux will close, as well.
Terrebonne Parish Public Schools were announced as open at first, but will now be closed, because of some equipment errors at some of the campuses in the area.
Both parishes are expected to be back to class on Friday, as temperatures are expected to significantly get warmer tomorrow afternoon.
