Council on Aging to host parish-wide Bingo

The Terrebonne Parish Council on Aging is hosting a parish-wide Bingo April 23 for residents age 60 and older.

Games will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Houma Municipal Auditorium, 880 Verret St.

The Medical Team, sponsors of the event, will also provide seniors with health education materials. To participate in Bingo, participants must attend the education segment of the day from 10 a.m. to noon.

Lunch will be served; $1 donation is required for entry.

Bingo cards will sell for $1, with a 20-card maximum purchase. The day will include 15 games and 1 blackout. In addition, door prizes will be given.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at any Terrebonne COA site or at the Main Operations Center at 995 W. Tunnel Blvd. in Houma.
