June 9, 2011Terrebonne General Medical Center’s Blood Donor Center will participate in the Baskin Robbins Pint for Pint Program through August.
Blood donors who give one pint of blood at the TGMC Blood Donor Center will receive a coupon for one pint of Baskin Robbins ice cream. Medical experts report that someone needs blood every two seconds and the only way to meet the demand is by blood donation. An individual donating one pint of blood could save three lives. Donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds.
Detailed information can be received by calling the TGMC Blood Donor Center at (985) 873-4025. The center is located on Belanger Street across from the medical center parking garage.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Extended hours for appointments only are on Tuesday between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
