State police and area deputies arrested eight people for trafficking methamphetamine in Terrebonne Parish last week.

The Louisiana State Police Narcotics Division, along with Terrebonne and Assumption sheriff’s deputies, received a tip that Blake Falcon, Ryan Simoneaux, Jessica Talbot and Ashley Johnson were en route to Terrebonne to pick up a supply of meth, authorities said.

The four were caught at a traffic stop in Schriever last Tuesday. Troopers found 7.5 grams of methamphetamine, which carries a $750 street value.

Falcon was turned over to Assumption Parish deputies. He had numerous outstanding warrants in that parish for issuing worthless checks and forgery.

Troopers learned that James Windwehen had a supply of meth at his 207 Gabi Court home in Theriot. At the house, authorities spotted the drug in plain view.

A search of the resident uncovered 4.4 grams of meth, valued at $440; 26.2 grams of marijuana, valued at $131; and a dose of Ecstasy, valued at $30. Authorities also found $1,121 in cash, a Glock 17 9mm handgun, Taurus 9mm handgun, an AMT 9mm handgun and a Jennings .22-caliber handgun.

A search of a vehicle driven by two visitors at the house, Jared Theriot and Raynell Littleton, led troopers to another 5.6 grams of meth, valued at $560. They were charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Windwehen was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm with narcotics

Michael Cummings and David Theriot, who were both at Windwehen’s residence when authorities arrived, were also arrested.

Cummings was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm with narcotics. Theriot was charged with possession of Ecstasy.
