The Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce’s next Business at Lunch event will feature a meet and greet with candidates vying for two Lafourche Parish positions.

The event will take place tomorrow, Sept. 18, at the Bayou Country Club.


Candidates running for Lafourche Parish assessor and the 17th Judicial District judgeship have been invited.

Jonathan “Jo-Jo” Cheramie (R-Thibodaux), Jerome “Dee” Richard (Independent-Thibodaux) and Wendy Thibodaux (No party-Lockport) are vying for assessor.

John J. Erny III (R-Raceland), Anthony P. “Tony” Lewis (D-Thibodaux) and “Steve” Miller (R-Raceland) are competing for the judgeship in Division B.


Cost of the buffet meal is $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-members.
