A 22-year-old Thibodaux man was arrested last Monday afternoon after he allegedly stalked at least women as they jogged near E.D. White High School’s track, Thibodaux Police said.

Kevin Tolbert, of 1023 Jackson St., was charged with three counts of stalking, according to department spokesman Lt. Sam Pruitt.

The women told police that Tolbert allegedly parked his white Chevy Caprice and watched them as they jogged near the school track and along Bayou Lane and Audubon Avenue. The three women have not affiliation with one another, Pruitt said.

According to Pruitt, stalking has become an increased concern in the Thibodaux area. Because of arresting Officer Kevin Brooks’ quick action, the agency’s Criminal Investigation Division was able to obtain a warrant and arrest Tolbert.

He is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond, Pruitt said.
