A lengthy investigation into drug dealing in the Thibodaux area ended early Wednesday with the arrest of four people and the confiscation of cash, a gun and over a half-pound of marijuana, Thibodaux Police said.

The department’s Special Weapons and Tactics team (S.W.A.T.) executed a search warrant at 220 Sanders St. at 3 a.m. Simultaneously, a search warrant was served next door at 218 Sanders St. by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office’s Crisis Management Unit (C.M.U.), authorities said.

With the help of Thibodaux Police K-9 Renate, authorities recovered over the marijuana, Xanax pills, drug paraphernalia, currency and a firearm in the two residences.

Arrested were:

Nathan Robertson, 19, of 220 Sanders St., possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance;

Jeremiah Williams, 20, 220 Sanders St., possession of marijuana with intent to distribute;

Clarence Robertson, 53, 218 Sanders St., possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia;

Latisha Robertson, 27, 218 Sanders St., on a contempt of court warrant from City Court.

The investigation was prompted by neighbors’ complaints of people selling and using illegal narcotics and firing weapons late at night in the 200 block of Sanders Street, authorities said.

“The search warrants acquired and subsequent arrest are the direct result of the Bureau of Narcotics commitment to identify, target and arrest any and all drug violators operating in the City of Thibodaux,” department Captain Brian Rhodes said in a release.
