Troop C – The recent hurricanes have passed, but left a tremendous burden on the shoulders of thousands of families in our community. Your local Louisiana State Police Troop C Trooper’s Association in partnership with the Boquet Breaux VFW Post 7755 will be hosting a clothing and common household items drive Saturday, September 27, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The items will be available for pickup at the Boquet Breaux VFW hall at 148 Bourg Larose Hwy in Bourg, La. The VFW hall is located just south of the LA 24 and LA 55 intersection (Klondyke area) in Bourg.

The purpose of this drive is to provide relief to the families of our community that lost items during the hurricane. Many families have lost everything and this is a positive way to get needed items to the families that absolutely need them.

Now we need the help of the community, your Troop C Trooper’s Association will be collecting the clothing and other household items (such as but not limited to: bedding, pillows, pots, pans, small appliances, etc….) at the Boquet Breaux VFW Post 7755 at 148 Bourg Larose Hwy in Bourg Thursday, September, 25, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Every item given is appreciated and will go to good use to provide relief to families in need affected by the recent hurricanes.

Anyone wanting to give and has a conflict with getting the items to the VFW in Bourg on Thursday, September 25 can also drop off the clothing at Troop C. Any appliances must be dropped off at the VFW in Bourg on Thursday, September 25.

Any questions can be answered at Troop C at 985-857-3683.

We serve a great community, and your local Troop C troopers want to be part of the community working together to become an even better community in the future.
