January 27, 2011The Volunteers of America are working to assist support personnel in their efforts to file claims related to the BP Deepwater Horizon explosion and oil spill.
“If you are a waitress, cook or deckhand, process plant worker, if you work in the seafood, restaurant or hotel industry and have experienced a loss in wages, cut in hours, or have lost your job, you may qualify for assistance,” VOA spokeswoman Linda Henderson said in a news release.
Volunteer of America go to those requesting assistance in compiling the proper documents that are required to successfully file a claim with the Gulf Coast Claims Facility.
