We the People – Bayou Chapter invites citizens to attend an Election Integrity Town Hall meeting this Sunday, January 30 at 3 p.m., at the Event Center on the Houma Airbase, located at 200 Moffett Rd. Committee member Amber Berry shared, “We have a great panel of speakers, including Kyle Ardoin, who are making decisions about voting machines that will help ensure the integrity of our state elections. We hope that anyone who has any concerns regarding elections will join us, and there will be door prizes.”


According to their website, the mission of We the People- The Bayou Region is to instill in the community the spirit of the Constitution by providing access to resources and information, empowering citizens to take action, and holding elected officials accountable​.

National Republican Committeewoman, Lenar Whitney encourages attendance saying, “This meeting concerns the future of Louisiana’s elections. We know that the citizens of Louisiana are overwhelmingly concerned about the sanctity of their one man, one vote right.”

The two hour meeting will feature the following guest speakers:


  • Secretary of State- Kyle Ardoin

  • Mike Fesi- Louisiana Senator
  • Dale Clary- Voting Systems Commission

  • Randy Russ -Citizens for Election Integrity

  • John Scanlan- Voter Algorithims

  • Lenar Whitney- National Republican Committeewoman

A panel discussion will follow with John Scanlan, Dr. Randy Russ, Dale Clary, and Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin. The meeting will conclude with a question and answer session, offering members of  the community the opportunity to interact with the guest speakers.
