• Reduce dental clinic by 30 percent and eliminate LSU dental student training: $228,740


• Reduce emergency room services from 24 to 12 staffed beds: $1.1 million

• Reduce inpatient services from 48 to 24 staffed beds: $1.4 million


• Reduce physicians by 50 percent: $3 million


• Close dermatology clinic: $133,000

• Close eye clinic: $503,152


• Close neurology clinic: $195,000


• Close outpatient lab: $123,750

• Close physical rehabilitation therapy: $292,048

• Close three of six operating rooms and related services: $2.7 million

• Close inpatient and outpatient orthopedic service: $1.5 million

• Close outpatient pharmacy: $376,500

• Close physical rehabilitation services: $195,952

• Close research department: $100,000

• Close women’s health services: $506,410.

• Transfer LSU and Ochsner residency programs to other facilities and eliminate Chabert specific residency program: $1.7 million
