Houma Police arrested a Houma woman early Friday after she beat her husband for keeping company with another woman, a police spokesman said.

Carlene F. Pellegrin, 34, 3166 Hwy. 311, #1127, broke a window at a residence in the 3400 block of Woodcrest Avenue at midnight and climbed inside, said Houma Police spokesman Lt. Todd Duplantis. Once inside, she found her husband with another female and began punching him, the officer said.

When police arrived, Duplantis said the husband had a cut on his forehead and a bloody nose. Pellegrin had a cut on her finger, which happened when she broke the window on the house, he said. Both refused medical treatment.

Pellegrin was issued a summons for domestic abuse battery.
