Abby J. Molaison, 98, a native of Chacahoula, La. and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, May 14, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by one brother, J.A. Molaison and wife, Eula Mae; his close friend, Jeannette Gros; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Rodrigue Molaison; his parents, Albert Molaison and Lucille Michel Molaison; one son, Abby Joseph Molaison Jr.; one brother, Allen Molaison; and four sisters, Levie Prejean, Ophelia Ledet, Beulah Talbot and Ora Webre.
He was owner of Thibodaux Feed Store when it was on the bayou side next to the Old Foundry in Thibodaux. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus in Thibodaux.
He was loved by all his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
