Adam “T-Dent” LaCoste, 79, a native of Deer Island Bayou and a resident of Larose, La., died Sunday, April 27, at 7:45 a.m.


He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lovenia Callais LaCoste; sons, Patrick, Kenneth and Adam Troy LaCoste; daughters, Claudette L. Colombel and Vanessa L. Canada; brothers, Berlin, Alfred, Ellis, David and Arthur “Donnie” LaCoste; sisters, Elvina Holt and Ellen Falls; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Cecelia Aucoin LaCoste; and brothers, Elmer, Sylvester, Clarence Jr. and Nelson “Buckshot” LaCoste.

He was a retired tugboat captain and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.

He was buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
