Adele Marie Courteaux Schultz, 35, a native and resident of Houma, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010.


She was a homemaker and a great volunteer at Oakshire Elementary School. She was a great mom and will be dearly missed.


She is survived by her parents, Ivy Mitchell Courteaux Jr. and Linda Portier Courteaux of Houma; two sons, Wayne Lee Schultz and Jacob Adam Schultz; three sisters, Edith Courteaux, Kimberly Courteaux and Pamela Courteaux Evans; two brothers, Carroll J. Courteaux and Ivy M. Courteaux III; and 12 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Hebert; and her husband, Paul E. Schultz.

She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
