Adeline H. Bruce, 73, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Tuesday, October 14.
She is survived by her mother, Lucille Matherne; two sons, Christopher “Boogie” Bruce and Chad Bruce; one daughter, Christie Bruce; two brothers, Murray Hebert and Leroy Hebert; two sisters, Doris H. Chauvin and Sheryl M. Scott; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her companion, Augustin Matherne; her father, Aurestile Hebert; her stepfather, Clay Matherne; and one sister, Wendy H. Trahan.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Cut Off.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
