Protection vital for future, locals tell Mabus
August 17, 2010Adeline N. Naquin, 80, a native of Montegut, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010.
Mrs. Naquin was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a member of the VFW Post 3700 and East Park Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Lillian (Gerard) Pitre; sons, Perry (Mary), Danny Sr. (Belita) and Bobby Sr. (Sheila), Preston and Samuel Sr. (Sheila) Naquin; sister, Wilma Hutchinson; 16 grandchildren, Chad Naquin, Chantel Danos, Donny and Lance Pitre, Kasie Lirette, Toby, Danny Jr., Angelle, Michelle, Bobby Jr., Kimberly, Elizabeth, Samuel Jr. and Brian Naquin, Jamie Pitre and Ashley Duthu; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice J. Naquin; parents, James and Mary Deroche Neal; brothers, Sidney, James, Herbert, Henry and Paul Neal; sisters, Alice, Laise and Thelma Naquin, Theresa Dufrene, Lucina Matherne and Alexina Neal; and one grandchild, Kelly Naquin.
She is buried at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery.
