Adeline Ordoyne Trosclair

Adeline Ordoyne Trosclair, 84, a native of Chackbay, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 10 a.m. Friday, December 5.

She is survived by three sons, Melvin, Jerry and O’neal Trosclair Jr.; one daughter, Vicky T. Gehbauer; and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O’Neal Trosclair Sr.; her parents, Joachim and Victoria Ordoyne; two sons, Roy Trosclair Sr. and Bryant Trosclair; one daughter, Judy Trosclair; seven brothers, Robert, Clifton, Ferdinan, Clincy, Eulice, Duly and Clarence Ordoyne; and two sisters, Cora Percle and Claudia Rodrigue.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay with mass to follow. She will be buried at Trosclair Cemetery in Chackbay.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
