Agatha Griffin Schouest, 86, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Monday, July 28, at 5:10 p.m.
She is survived by her daughter, Dolores Dominique Cothron of Lockport; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Schouest; parents, Willie and Celima Chiasson Griffin; son, Bryan James Brown; brothers, Eddie, Emile, Alex and Milton Griffin; and sisters, Edith Guidroz, Sadie Chiasson, Annie Allemand and Marie Allemand.
She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Falgout Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, at Holy Savior Church with mass to follow. She will be buried at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.
