Agatha Hamilton

Agatha Gertrude Coave Hamilton, 85, a native and resident of Houma, La. died Wednesday, June 13, 2007.

She is survived by her daughter, Anne Marie H. Thibodeaux, her son and daughter-in-law Peter J. and Osana Gaudin Hamilton, five grandchildren, Angele Thibodeaux Burns (LaVias), Thomas Thibodeaux, III, Peter J. Hamilton, III, Ryan C. Hamilton, Kelsey C. Hamilton, and three great grandchildren, Jenee A. Rideaux, Jackson T. Burns, Jaedyn M. Thibodaux and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lillian Verdun Coave, and her beloved husband of 50 years, Peter J. Hamilton, Sr.

Agatha was a retired Terrebonne Parish Educator and Terrebonne General Hospital Volunteer. She graduated from Holy Rosary in Lafayette and Xavier University of Louisiana.

Visitation is Monday June 18, 2007 from 10:00am until 2pm at the Cathedral of St. Francis de Sales in Houma, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 PM. She will buried at St. Francis #2 cemetery in Houma.
