Agnes Daspit Kennedy, 97, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, July 17, 2013.
Mrs. Kennedy was a retired school teacher.
She is survived by her sisters, Katharine Daspit and Louise Geary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Kennedy; daughter, Elisabeth Schmitt; parents, Robert and Margaret Daspit; brothers, Robert Jr., John and Woodson Daspit; and sisters, Carolyn McMurry and Annie Daspit.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery. (Chauvin)
